William Shirbroun of Ft. Dodge was traveling in the 17000 block of Highway 141 Diagonal when a vehicle driven by Daniel Carreno Nevarez of Perry came into his lane and was passing then struck the passenger side of his vehicle causing him to enter the median. No injuries reported. Damage to Shirbroun’s vehicle estimated at $5000.00 and $5000.00 to Carreno Nevarez’s. Carreno Nevarez was cited for improper use of lanes.

Abraham M. Sharif, age 21 of 807 Elk Ridge Dr., Elkhorn, NE., was arrested for interference with official acts, assault on persons in certain occupations and improper lane change.

Amelia Lee Knoke, age 32 of 4520 72nd St., Urbandale was arrested on a warrant for possession of a controlled substance without prescription.

July 20, 2019
Gabrielle Johnson of Pella was traveling east near the 100 mile marker of Interstate 80 when she began to hydroplane due to the heavy rain and lost control going into the median striking cable barriers before coming to a stop. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $4000.00 and approximately $3500.00 to the cable barriers.

Andrew David Bierbaum, age 30 of 7425 Wistful Vista, West Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of theft.

July 22, 2019
Johnathon Patrick Oliver, age 27 of 4140 Hubbell, Des Moines was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.

Chidera Angelina Nwankwo, age 24 of 3820 81st St., Urbandale was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear-original charge of OWI.

Mason Daniel Russell, age 25 of 12778 Lincoln Circle, Clive was arrested on a warrant for theft.
