A Missouri man was given probation for performing lascivious acts with a child in Guthrie County.

County Attorney Brenna Bird said in a press release that 23-year-old Jaxon Mitchell Janvrin of Warrensburg, Missouri pled guilty to the charge of lascivious acts with a child, a class C felony, for incidents that occurred between November 1st and December 31st, 2014. Bird requested a 10 year prison sentence for Janvrin, which the court suspended and ordered three years of probation. Janvrin is ordered to pay court costs, the sex abuse surcharge and civil penalty. He’s also placed on a special sentence of probation for the rest of his life and must register as a sex offender. The court also ordered that Janvrin enter the Sex Offender Treatment Program and a no contact order with the victim. The Panora Police Department assisted with the case.
