Those wanting to cool off can join in a free activity at Springbrook State Park.

Iowa Department of Natural Resources Training Specialist Anne Riordan is hosting an evening kayaking event from 5:30-7:30 p.m. tomorrow at Springbrook Lake. The event will include basic instruction, followed by paddling on the lake. Kayaks will be provided or attendees can bring their own. The group will meet at the beach.
