Nobody likes losing.  It’s not fun.  And sometimes, it even hurts.

The 2019 ADM Softball team had hopes and dreams of a state title after the runner-up effort in 2018, but that was all washed away after the 1-0 loss ADM suffered to Oskaloosa on Tuesday night.

The lone Senior for the Tigers, Emily Hatchitt, was visibly emotional as her ADM High School days officially came to a close.  Hatchitt will go on to play at Iowa Western Community College next summer, so she still has plenty of softball left in her career, just not at the high school level.

Everyone else on the ADM Softball team will return in 2020, including the Hlas twins, 8th graders, Brylee Person and Aliya Yanga, and Freshman, Olivia Tollari, that all made major impacts on this year’s team.

Tigers fans, be patient.  The talent is there, the coaching is there, maturity and experience will come with time.  ADM Softball will be back and among the best again next year.
