The Greene County School Board will meet tonight.
The Board will consider for approval several agreements for the 2019-2020 school year including: New Opportunities, sports medicine coverage, impact concussion testing, early bird classes with Iowa Central Community College and a School Administrators of Iowa mentoring program. Additionally, the Board will consider for approval fundraiser requests, nutrition bids for milk and diary, construction project change orders, a request for a school driving permit, and an interfund loan.
The Board will also discuss the football program going to Camp Dodge, a mental health nurse practitioner, Iowa Association of School Boards’ legislative priorities, the 2019-2020 handbooks and remodeling the high school into the middle school. Finally, the Board will consider approving a resolution a revenue purpose statement for the Secure and Advanced Vision for Education (SAVE) funds and ordering an election to vote on the statement.
The meeting begins at 5:15pm in the conference room of the administrative building in Jefferson.
