The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motorcycle wreck Sunday afternoon.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, at about 12:30 p.m. 27-year-old Jonathan Charles Matthews of Randall was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle northbound on Wagon Road about a quarter of a mile north of 252nd Street at speeds of 60-65 miles per hour when he lost control entering a curve. Matthews’ motorcycle left the roadway onto the west shoulder and collided with a sign post. Matthews was wearing a helmet, and did not seek medical treatment for possible injuries. He was cited with failure to maintain control and no valid motorcycle license.
