6:17am: A deputy assisted a motorist on U Avenue near 305th Street.

8:49 am a deputy investigated a scam in the 2300 block of 170th Street.

9:13am: A deputy assisted with a deer in a Morton building in the 1500 block of K Avenue.

1:50pm: The Sheriff checked on several vehicles parked near the railroad tracks on Kirkwood Avenue.

2:11pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a search of a residence in the 100 block of East Clark Street.

3:35pm: Megan Stuhr 24 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail for a revocation of a pretrial release.

4:33pm: A deputy investigated a littering complaint on 220th Street near B Avenue.

7:54pm: Benjamin Allen 29 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for theft 1st degree, identity theft over 10,000 dollars, and forgery.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
