Four seniors saw their high school softball careers end last week when ACGC’s season finished with a loss to Van Meter in the second round of regional play.

Savana Fuller, Sierra O’Brien, Jadeyn Carrick and Genevieve Hoover will be moving on to college this fall after being key parts of Charger softball the past five years.

Coach Tim O’Brien spoke to Raccoon Valley Radio about the quartet after their senior night game back on June 25.

“They’ve been the cornerstone of our program,” O’Brien said. “All four have been an absolute pleasure to coach the last five years.”

2019 was the most successful of those seasons as they went 14-17 and won a game in the postseason with Fuller pitching a no-hitter into the seventh inning against West Central Valley.
