Saturday night, in the heat and high humidity, West Central Valley played in first round, District postseason action at Panorama, as the Wildcats did battle with Mount Ayr.

Unfortunately, for first year Head Coach, Nick Weinmeister, it was the final night to coach some of his Seniors that made big impact on this year’s team.  It was also the final night for WCV graduates like Cole Arnburg, and Carson Wadle to suit up as a Wildcat.

West Central Valley ends the season after the Mount Ayr loss in Districts, with a 4-26 record.  West Central Valley picked up wins this season over AC/GC, Earlham, and swept Woodward Acacdemy in a doubleheader.

WCV has reason to be excited about the future, as Weinmeister steered a very young team this year, that gained valuable experience, and will return all but Arnburg and Waldle to the 2020 WCV Baseball roster.
