One game separates the ADM Tigers Softball team from a State Tournament berth, and that game to earn the bid in the elite classic in Fort Dodge will be played tomorrow on the Tigers home diamond in Adel.
After picking up a win over Newton on Saturday, the Tigers get two days off before getting back into action on Tuesday.
ADM will play Oskaloosa on Tuesday, who downed Norwalk to advance on to the Regional Champsionship game.
Nearly a month ago, ADM and Norwalk met in Adel. Norwalk led 4-0 heading into the bottom of the 7th inning. ADM didn’t have a single hit until that final frame, when the Tigers rallied. ADM strung together hits, baserunners, and a couple walks to give themselves a chance. ADM ended up winning the game, 5-4, on a 2 RBI Double from Freshman, Olivia Tollari.
ADM and Oskaloosa will meet tomorrow night in Adel in the Regional Final, with the winner advancing to the State Tournament next week in Fort Dodge. Action is scheduled to get underway at 7:00pm.
