Nick Weinmeister’s West Central Valley Wildcats Baseball team will take to the field tonight in District Postseason action as the Wildcats will travel to Panorama High School for their District Tournament.

In their first round match-up, West Central Valley gets paired with Mount Ayr High School from the southern border of the state.

West Central Valley comes into tonight’s game with a 4-25 season record, following their loss to Winterset on Thursday, meanwhile, Mount Ayr will walk into Panora with a 13-5 record for the season.  Mount Ayr fell victim to countless cancellations due to weather over the course of the summer.

Tonight’s game is scheduled for a 5:00pm first pitch in Panora.
