The ACGC baseball team heads into district play this weekend playing the best they have all season.

It’s been another frustrating year for the Chargers, but after losing their first 17 games of the season, they’ve won three of their last four games to finish with a record of 5-22.

The last victory came on Monday in a 4-3 thriller over Exira-EHK in eight innings. They’ll try to keep that momentum going as they begin postseason play against neighboring Panorama. That game will be Saturday evening in Panora at 7 p.m.
