All Jefferson area youngsters, from infants to 5-year-olds, are invited to a special program at the Jefferson Public Library.

The Library Playdate will be held for six Wednesdays, starting July 17th and ending on August 21st. Kids can explore all of the library’s collection of educational toys. Children’s Librarian Terry Clark says by using the educational toys, kids can develop their basic motor and problem solving skills, while also developing their social skills. Some of the different educational toys include a beading activity, train set, lock puzzles, and a diner playset, among others.

It is also an opportunity for parents and guardians to socialize. It will be from 10:30-11:30am. It is free and no pre-registration is necessary.
