Yale and surrounding residents beat the heat this Fourth of July with watermelon and bathtub races at the Yale Community Club’s annual celebration.

Events for all-ages were held Wednesday and Thursday in Yale, including a 5K, bicycle poker run, parade, horse show, car and tractor show, and more. The celebration ended with a new addition this year, a free concert with the band Dizclaimer which preceded the fireworks display.
