Coming off of their recent successful “UnWine Downtown” event, the Stuart Revitalization Group is seeking sponsors to make their next community attraction a success.

The group is hosting the inaugural “Best of the Block” BBQ Cook-Off on September 20-21 in downtown Stuart. Teams will compete for the best brisket, pork butt, whole chicken, spare ribs, and grand champion title. The event will also include all-you-can-eat wings on the Friday night, live music, and a bags tournament. Organizer Russ Wagner hopes this event will bring barbecue lovers from near and far to experience what Stuart has to offer.
