Guthrie County Extension and Outreach’s next summer day camp will feature some of nature’s tiniest creatures.

An “Insects Everywhere” camp will be held on Tuesday, July 16th from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Springbrook State Park. Kids will get to explore insects who live in the woods, water, and prairie, and discover the important roles they hold in the ecosystem such as pollinating, composting, and insect control. Attendees will also make their own “bug box” to take home. This camp is open to any child in kindergarten through fifth grade, and cost to participate is $10.
