From live music to a chair fundraising auction, there are a plethora of events staying true to Greenfield’s “Rock ‘n’ 4th” themed town celebration.

Hosted by the Greenfield Chamber/Main Street organization and the City of Greenfield, this Thursday has a full day of events scheduled for families to enjoy, most of them for free. Greenfield Chamber/Main Street Director Stacie Hull mentions some of the reasoning behind the “Rock ‘n’ 4th” theme, “Some of the theme to go along with that ‘Rock ‘n’ the 4th’ that we have is the rock painting but then we also have a free swim at our pool from 1-5 p.m. and that’s to kind of debut the new rock wall that was just installed in the pool. So it’s a new feature that’s available for people to enjoy.”

The 4th of July celebration includes Ag Adventure, kids water fights and carnival games, free spin art and rock painting, power wheel races, and more on the public square. The evening’s entertainment will happen at Lake Greenfield with live bands, yard games, bingo, mini golf, and fireworks at dark.
