Thursday night’s execution for Nick Weinmeister’s bunch, West Central Valley Baseball, was just what the doctor ordered.
An excellent showing on the mound by Senior, Cole Arnburg. Arnburg threw all seven inning, completing the game, giving up just one hit all night, and striking out 16 Cardinals, to boot.
Although, West Central Valley’s offense was a high powered attack in the win over Earlham, it was enough to support the excellent outing on the mound by Arnburg. Carson Wadle and Owen Harwood both picked up RBIs for the Wildcats, bringing home the two WCV runs for the night.
The Wildcats will look to extend their winning ways to consecutive status, as West Central Valley will travel to the metro area to face the Eagles of Saydel.
