Stuart and West Central Valley School District residents are being asked to spend a few minutes of time giving their thoughts for the advancement of the community.

The Stuart Revitalization Group has released a survey to gauge residents’ thoughts of the City of Stuart, with questions including their opinions on the town’s greatest assets and challenges, what could be done to get people to spend more time and money in the town, and how Stuart should brand itself. Revitalization Group member Bob Cook says this is the start of a long range project to bring more visitors to town and enjoy more of what the community has to offer, “This survey is the first step and there will be multiple steps with an ultimate goal to bring more visitors to our community, develop more assets and reasons for people to come here, and then even more significantly, how do we get the visitors that get as far as exit 93 deeper in the community to explore more things downtown and beyond.”

Cook encourages all surrounding residents to complete the survey, which will be open until Wednesday, July 12th. Those without internet access can find a paper form at the Stuart Public Library and the Stuart Herald office. A link to the online survey can be found here.
