The nation’s birthday is coming up, and there are a few opportunities for residents to see the skies light up in and around Guthrie County.

The City of Yale will be having a fireworks display at dusk on Thursday, July 4th from their ball field, as part of their annual town celebration. Greenfield will also host a display on the holiday at dark at Lake Greenfield, during their “Rock ‘n’ 4th” celebration. Folks can also travel to Earlham for a display on the 4th during the city’s Freedom Fest, happening at dusk at the football field. The holiday fun won’t end Thursday, as the Lake Panorama Association will host their “Fire in the Sky” display at dusk on Saturday, July 6th at Shady Beach.
