In what has seemed like a whirlwind of a regular season, that started out with unseasonably cool, wet weather, and a preseason, #1 ranking for ADM, comes to its final full week before postseason play gets underway in the second week of July.

The #1 ranking is no longer, but high hopes, a state tournament appearance, and a state championship are still the goals of the ADM Softball team, and first year Head Coach, Jodi Doty.  ADM’s lone senior, Emily Hatchitt, would like one final push towards the championship and a run at Fort Dodge in the state tournament.

ADM gets its final week of regular season play underway on Monday at home versus Van Meter, the Tigers will travel to Knoxville for a make-up date on Tuesday, then ADM will spend the entire day on Friday in Dallas Center for a tournament with 11 other schools, many of which play in Class 4A, with ADM, and some in Class 5A, as well.
