West Central Valley Softball is back at its home diamond in Stuart tonight after playing away from home the past four days.

WCV opened the week on the road Monday at Madrid, in Guthrie Center on Tuesday at AC/GC, and then road games on Wednesday and Thursday at Ogden and Earlham.

The return home is a welcome sight after this daunting stretch of road games for the Wildcats.

Tonight, West Central Valley will welcome its opponents from Grand View Christian on Des Moines’ east side.  Grand View will make the trip to Stuart tonight, winding down a very successful regular season for the private, metro school.

West Central Valley has just a week and a half to tune things up before its win or go home in District Postseason action, beginning on July 8.

The Wildcats will toss the first pitch against Grandview Christian tonight at 5:30pm.
