The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors will meet in regular session today.
The meeting will begin with a discussion on the future of Informational Technology services with David Garland and Curt Thornberry of Guthrie Center Communications. Next, the Board will receive an update from Midwest Partnership Economic Development Corporation Executive Director Sarah Gomez. The Board will then discuss and consider action on Iowa Municipal Works Compensation Association coverage for the county chaplains with Becky Benton of State Street Insurance. The Board will also consider action on assignment of a county held tax sale certificate, and consider reappointing Barry Chalfant to the county commission of veteran affairs. Finally, the Board will consider for approval several fireworks and liquor license applications.
The Board meets at 9 a.m. at the Guthrie County Courthouse.
