Weather permitting, the City of Perry will be re-striping crosswalks and painting parking stalls downtown tonight, so people are asked to keep their vehicles out of the area.

In particular, any vehicles occupying the parking lot at the intersection of 1st Street and Willis Avenue at Caboose park will need to be moved to a different off-street parking lot before 10 p.m. Citizens are also asked to move any vehicles taking up street parking stalls prior to that time. The parking lot and downtown street parking will re-open to vehicles early tomorrow morning. City staff had hoped to have re-striping and painting completed last week, but consistent rainfall during the week postponed the project.
