The annual Adel Sweet Corn Festival is still about a month-and-a-half away, but starting now people can get their first piece of merchandise for the event.

This year’s Sweet Corn t-shirts are now on sale, and the public is encouraged to pick one up now so they can wear it proudly during the festivities. The cost is $20 per shirt, and the proceeds will go towards paying for this year’s and the 2020 celebration. Shirts can be purchased at the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce office, located on the second floor of City Hall, as well as at the Adel Fareway and Raccoon Valley Bank. This year’s merchandise will also be on sale at the Chamber tent at the festival, in addition to t-shirts from previous years.

The 2019 Adel Sweet Corn Festival will be Saturday, August 10th, and the public is also invited to the annual Shucking of the Corn on Friday, August 9th.
