The Greene County Board of Supervisors will meet today.

Following a public hearing at 9am for a hog confinement expansion project in section 3 of Dawson Township, the Board is expected to make their recommendation to the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. Additionally, the Board will consider for approval to appropriate funds for the 2020 fiscal year to all county departments, transferring appropriations from public safety to legal services for the current fiscal year, a satisfaction of forgivable loan documents for the downpayment assistance program and a Mahanay Memorial Carillon Bell Tower and Greene County Courthouse elevator upgrades project proposal.

The meeting begins at 8:30am in the boardroom of the courthouse in Jefferson.
