The Dallas County Republican Party is hosting a free meet and greet event this coming Thursday, and the public is invited to join.

The annual Dallas County GOP Pork Tenderloin and Potluck Picnic will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday at Evans Park in Adel. Representatives from the central committee will grill Iowa pork tenderloins and provide buns, all attendees need to do is bring a side dish to share. In order to make sure there aren’t 20 dishes of green bean casserole, however, organizers are asking people to RSVP and indicate what they intend to bring for the potluck. They emphasize that there’s no cost in purchasing a “ticket,” and that there’s no fundraising obligation for attendees. Instead, organizers promise it will be a fun family atmosphere for people to meet other conservatives in the area.
