adm-7

The ADM Tigers Softball team had its share of issues keeping the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays from stealing a game in Adel to open the Raccoon River Conference season a few weeks back.  ADM was able to steal the victory, but not easily.  The Tigers fended off Bondurant by the final score of 2-1 in Adel back on May 30.

On Tuesday night, ADM made the trip to play on the Bluejays’ home diamond in Bondurant.  This time, ADM was able to get the bats going and earn a comfortable victory over B-F.  Abbie Hlas did the work inside the circle for ADM.  Hlas tossed 92 pitches, allowing just four hits, throwing 8 strikeouts, and she didn’t walk a single batter.

Hlas also led ADM offensively with 4 RBIs, Brooke Hickey tacked on two more RBIs, and Emily Hlas and Emily Hatchitt each added a run batted in, as well.

ADM will be back in action tonight down in Knoxville, taking on the Panthers at 7:00pm.
