Jason Book knew that these past two weeks would define what type of team he has this year. The ADM Baseball team has been on a road trip for the past week and a half, and the long stretch away from Adel continues tonight with an away game at Bondurant-Farrar.
In an earlier match-up this season, going back three weeks, ADM and Bondurant met up in Adel to open Raccoon River Conference play for both teams. The Bluejays struck early and it looked like B-F would cruise to an easy victory, but ADM was bound and determined to not allow that to happen. The Tigers stormed back from a six run deficit to eventually win the game 10-9, to win their first game of the year.
The Bluejays have been on a roller coaster of a season, so far. Bondurant-Farrar has been hovering just under the .500 mark on the season, and is trailing ADM in the Raccoon River Conference Baseball Standings.
Tonight’s game between ADM and Bondurant-Farrar is scheduled for 7:30pm first pitch, but is subject to change with rain and storms set to move into the area this afternoon and evening.
