7:04am: A deputy investigated a report of a suspicious person that was scene around 4:30am and not reported till 7:04am in the 900 block of High Street, Scranton.

7:19am: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 1000 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.

7:33am: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 400 block of State Street, Scranton.

7:54am: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 400 block of State Street, Scranton.

9:45am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a welfare check in the 400 block of East Mckinley Street.

10:21am: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 900 block of High Street, Scranton.

11:06am: The Sheriff investigated a suspicious person in the 1700 block of 222nd Street. Jim Tancredi 41 of Texas was arrested for stowing away on a train.

11:58am: The Sheriff investigated a suspected burglary in the 1700 block of 222nd Street.

1:25pm: Jim Tancredi 41 of Texas was booked into the jail for stowing away.

1:29pm: A deputy investigated an assault that occurred in Churdan.

2:51pm: A deputy investigated a backing accident in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction. Judith Warburton 78 of Altoona backed into an unoccupied vehicle with her 2018 Chevrolet Equinox causing around 2,000 dollars damage to both vehicles. The second vehicle was a 2017 Ford Escape.

5:56pm: A deputy investigated a burglary in the 500 block of Jefferson Street, Scranton.

Thursday, June 20th

1:05am: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.

8:35am: A deputy investigated a harassment complaint in the 900 block of Irving Street, Scranton.

11:38am: Justin Harvey 18 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for 2 counts for criminal mischief 5th degree and 4 counts of criminal mischief 4th degree.

4:40pm: A deputy conducted a traffic stop on N Avenue near 220th Street and arrested Kole Higgins 24 of Scranton for driving while barred.

4:41pm: A deputy investigated a two-vehicle accident on 11th Street and Hager Street, Grand Junction. Colby Lappe 24 of Auburn was traveling north on 11th Street in a 2004 Ford Expedition. Aaron Vandoorn 42 of Perry was east on 11th Street and failed to stop at the stop sign striking Colby’s vehicle. Colby’s vehicle had an estimated 2,500 dollars damage and Aaron’s vehicle had an estimated 4,000 dollars damage. Aaron was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.

6:49pm: Kole Higgins 24 of Scranton was booked into the jail for driving while barred.

8:30pm: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 270th Street near T Avenue.

11:36pm: A deputy investigated a suspicious person in the 700 block of H Avenue.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
