The long-awaited launch of the newest restaurant in Perry is upon us, with Bett and Bev’s BBQ opening this coming Tuesday.
The restaurant is located along 1st Street, adjacent to the Verizon Store, and it’s the second location for the Jefferson-based eatery. During their opening week, they will be open from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and then from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. In addition to their grand opening week, Bett and Bev’s will also be celebrating their partnership with the Perry Chamber of Commerce with a special ribbon-cutting event on Friday. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti explains, “(It’s) very exciting to have a new restaurant in town, (it’s) kind of been in the works for a little while, so (we’re) very excited to welcome them and celebrate with a ribbon-cutting. It’s going to be (at) 10:30 a.m., and that’ll be great because it’ll be right before lunch time. So we’ll be at a barbeque shop, so you know, fill in the blank there for what can happen! But like I said, (it’s) just a great chance to welcome them to the community.”
