Due to rain and thunderstorms moving through Carroll, Greene, and Boone counties on Monday afternoon and evening, many area high school baseball and softball games were postponed due to the impending weather conditions.

The ADM at Carroll game, a Raccoon River Conference Match-up, on Monday evening, was no exception.  Rain started building to the west, eventually reaching the Carroll area around 3:00pm, and stalling out over west central Iowa, causing the contests between Adel-DeSoto-Minburn and Carroll to be postponed past the original scheduled date.

Jason Book, ADM’s Baseball Coach, and Jodi Doty, ADM’s Softball Coach, were both hopeful that Monday’s game would be played, because making up games at this point in the season can be challenging.

As of currently, the make-up date between ADM and Carroll hasn’t yet been named, although, with this game being a conference game in the RRC, it will be made up, at some point.
