A teenager from Perry was arrested Tuesday following several months of investigation into allegations of sexual abuse.

Perry Police Chief Eric Vaughn reports that 18-year-old Damon Lee Dillinger was arrested on a warrant for third-degree sexual abuse – forcible rape, a class C felony. The charge stems from an incident that was reported on April 16th of this year, where Dillinger allegedly committed a sex act upon a 15-year-old female against her will in late March. He was arrested without incident at his residence Tuesday and was transported to Dallas County Jail. He is currently being held on a $10,000 bond.

If convicted, Dillinger would be subject to up to 10 years in prison, and up to $10,000 in fines. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
