A Perry man was arrested at his home early Saturday morning after a dispute call turned into a drug bust.

Police Chief Eric Vaughn reports that officers responded to the home of 38-year-old Matthew Tyler Andorf in the 400 block of Willis Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. The initial call was a result of a dispute between three parties, including Andorf and an unnamed man and woman. After their initial investigation of the scene, officers discovered drug paraphernalia that led to an additional search. They then discovered more than five grams of methamphetamine on Andorf and executed his arrest.

He was charged with possession of meth with intent to deliver, a class B felony, failure to affix a drug stamp, a class D felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a simple misdemeanor. He was transported to Dallas County Jail, where he is currently being held on $105,300 bond. Andorf will also face additional charges as a result of a probation violation for previous felony drug offenses. He waived his preliminary hearing and will have an arraignment in mid-July.
