Annual traditions and new attractions were had at this year’s Good Egg Days in Stuart.

New this year was the “Ag Adventure” attraction provided by Ag 4 All which featured interactive and educational exhibits for kids at Lawbaugh Park. Other new attendees included Gotcha Games with their carnival and inflatable rides, and the Cory Farley Band that performed at Saturday night’s street dance. The annual “Father of the Year” award was given to Jim Lonsdale, nominated by his family, and the Grand Marshal recognition was doubly special this year. Two couples were named Grand Marshal for their combined 120-plus years of service to Stuart: Jerry and Connie Vitzthum and Vince and Audrey Wells. The couples received plaques of recognition Friday night and rode in Saturday’s parade. Raccoon Valley Radio took part in the festival Saturday, broadcasting live and playing music.
