The number-one ranked team in Class 4A, the ADM Tigers, fell to second-ranked Carlisle this past Thursday in a rematch with the Wildcats.

After a dramatic comeback victory in Adel 12 days ago, the Tigers were bested by Carlisle 4-2.  ADM was only able to corral four hits all night, which kept its offense at bay.  Abbie Hlas takes her second loss of the season, as she tossed for five strikeouts, and three walks.

Sophomore, Lexi Link, picked up the win for Carlisle, coming in for relief of Molly Hoekstra.  Link threw 4 and 2/3 innings for Carlisle, and only allowing one hit to ADM.

ADM’s offense was contributed by Morgan Meyer with two singles, and hits for Abbie Hlas and, DP, Aliya Yanga.

After playing over the weekend in a four-game tournament in Roland, the Tigers travel to Carroll tonight for a Raccoon River Conference match-up scheduled for 7:15pm this evening.
