a-universe-of-stories

It’s been a busy month at the Perry Public Library so far as the “Universe of Stories” Summer Reading Program is in full swing.

Coming soon there are a pair of events to wrap up the month of June, one for all ages and the other for just adults. First, on Tuesday the 18th, people in the kids, teen, and adult programs are invited to an event hosted by Blank Park Zoo called “Otherworldly Animal Adaptations.” It will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the library’s large meeting room. The following week, adults in the program are invited to an evening of entertainment featuring storyteller Jane Traver. The event will be on Monday the 24th at 6:30 p.m. in the large meeting room. Both programs are free and open to anyone who has signed up for summer reading, though pre-registration is not necessary.
