Panorama girls basketball has a new head coach for the first time in a quarter century after the school board approved the hiring of Kylee Boettcher on Monday.
She replaces Dan Druivenga, whose contract was not renewed by the board after 25-years on the bench in Panora. Boettcher has spent the past several years as an assistant for both basketball and softball. She’s been an educator for 16 years, including the past three as an instructional coach for Panorama Schools.
Boettcher grew up near Panora and was a four-sport athlete as a student at Panorama, competing in basketball, softball, track and cross country. After graduation she went on to play basketball and softball at Buena Vista University.
