The West Central Valley Wildcats were scheduled to have both their Baseball and Softball squads in action tonight with Nodaway Valley of Greenfield.  Tonight’s baseball game is still a go, however the softball game has been cancelled for tonight.

WCV Baseball will get an opponent tonight that’s been moderately successful, with Nodaway Valley hovering just about the .500 mark for the season.

Offensively, West Central Valley has been led by, Senior, Cole Arnburg, Blaise Beane, and Carson Wadle.  Wadle has the team’s only homerun, so far, this season.  Those three players have also combined for nearly 70% of the team’s hitting for the season.

The Wildcats have been plagued this season by inconsistent pitching, and a poor walk to strikeout ratio, but will have a chance to turn things in the right direction with a win tonight.

West Central Valley is hosting Nodaway Valley in Baseball action tonight in Stuart beginning at 6:30pm.
