Work is underway to address the issue that has kept the Stuart Aquatic Center a couple weeks behind schedule of opening for the summer.

Public Works Director Jim Henderson says Pleva Mechanical began preliminary work Sunday to determine the reason why the pool’s water doesn’t maintain height. Last week’s and this week’s scheduled swim lessons have been cancelled and the pool remains closed until the issue is solved. Lesson refunds can be handled at City Hall.
