There is another opportunity to help spruce up the new location of the Greene County food pantry.

Volunteers are needed today to help remove the exterior cedar siding on the south side of the building at 1004 North Vine Street. Both boards and nails will need to be removed and the good boards will be saved and used for the renovation to the west side of the building, which will be done later this year. All volunteers are asked to bring gloves and hammers. There are also boards that just need to have nails pulled out of them as well. The project will start at 1pm.

The Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC) officially opened this past Wednesday in the new location. A grand opening and public open house will be scheduled at a later date.
