Guthrie County residents are reminded of an annual garage sale event spanning 26 miles this weekend.

The White Pole Road Marathon Sale allows anyone to set up a sale free-of-charge along the historic byway in the towns of Adair, Casey, Menlo, Stuart, and Dexter. The official event takes place tomorrow, though you’re likely to see some sales start early today. This rain or shine event encourages residents to declutter their homes and promote tourism on White Pole Road. Motorists should also be wary of extra pedestrian traffic in the area as well.
