The Stuart Public Library is counting down to blast off to their “Universe of Stories” summer reading program.

Tomorrow is the final day of registration for the program that’s open to all ages to incentivize reading during the summer. There is also a plethora of weekly public events, starting with an event with Guthrie County Extension at 1:30 p.m. June 3rd. On Tuesdays kids four and younger can come for storytime at 10 a.m. Library Director Lisa Sherman says the new “Kidding Around” group will meet simultaneously, “Now (the) Kidding Around group, that is for five-year-olds and older. A lot of times the parents have the little guy, but they also have an older child and they still need some supervision. So we will have planned reading, activities, crafts, there might be a surprise or two knowing our library.”

There will also be lego club for kids five and older from 3-4 p.m. Thursdays from June 13th through August 15th. To register for the reading program and learn more about summer events, find the library’s phone number in this story at raccoonvalleyradio.com.
