
Wednesday, May 29th
7:58am: An officer checked on a Business Alarm Activation at 1603 North Elm Street. An employee had accidentally tripped the alarm.
9:54am: A caller requested officers at 500 block of East Lincoln Way Street for a reported Domestic Issue between her mother and her mother’s boyfriend. Officers spoke to a couple at the apartment who advised there was no issue occurring and no assistance was needed.
11:35am: Officers were requested at City Hall, located at 220 North Chestnut Street, for an uncooperative subject paying his water bill to have the service turned back on.
4:29pm: Jack Lewis reported a stray dog in his yard at 102 North Maple Street. The officer located the animal back home at 602 West Lincoln Way Street. The officer warned the owner about the animal running free and gave her a time period to become compliant with Animal Licensing.
4:30pm: A caller advised of a vehicle revving its engine loudly in the 700 Block of North Wilson Ave. The officer spoke to a resident in the area about the complaint.
5:57pm: Sheila Goodwin reported a subject stopped and talking to people in the 1000 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. She advised they were blocking the street. The officer did not locate the vehicle.
8:13pm: Dan Ayres spoke with an officer concerning a Civil Property Issue.
9:57pm: Kristy Burley reported she had fallen victim to the Social Security Scam Call. The caller advised of a debt to the government and instructed Burley to purchase a pre-paid Visa Card, which she did. She provided the caller the number off of the card and her date of birth. She incurred a loss of $500.00.
11:14pm: Brittany Olson reported two stray dogs near Clark and Pinet Streets. The officer located the animals and placed them in the Animal Holding Facility.
