Interstate-80 westbound has been reopened following four semi trucks that were overturned due to high winds this morning.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the westbound lanes of I-80 from mile markers 76 to 86 were closed from about 7:30-10 a.m. while crews responded to the scene. Traffic was rerouted onto White Pole Road during the closure. One person was transported to the Adair County Hospital in Greenfield for treatment of minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the incident. Adair Fire and Rescue and Adair County Ambulance assisted the Iowa State Patrol.
