Friday, May 24th
4:36am: An officer contacted the Sewer Dept. concerning a large pond of water that was not receding in the 500 Block of South Elm Street.
9:53am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 500 Block of East Clark Street for, “Parked Between Lot Line and Curb Line.”
11:27am: An officer provided a Funeral Escort.
12:25pm: An officer spotted a passenger in a vehicle, which the officer knew had outstanding warrants. Royzell Henderson, 19 of Jefferson was arrested at 222 East Lincoln Way Street for the Jefferson Police Department Arrest Warrant for, “Providing Tobacco/Vape Products to Persons Under 18 – Simple.”
1:59pm: A caller advised of someone dumping concrete near Russell and Mulberry Streets. The officer did not locate anything in the area.
3:46pm: A Traffic Stop at Locust and Russell Streets resulted in Ashley Tesdahl of Grand Junction being cited for, “Excessive Speed and Operation without Registration.”
4:24pm: Lora Smalley reported subjects cutting her trees at 605 South Vine Street. The officer advised the crews are clearing trees on the Right-of-Way near powerlines.
6:37pm: An officer assisted a motorist with mechanical problems at Elm and 220th Street.
6:49pm: Officers were requested at 505 East Lincoln Way Street for a reported Fight in Progress. The officer arrived and learned two males had been involved in a verbal dispute, but were separated by family members. One male had left the event for the evening and no assistance was needed.
7:33pm: A caller advised of a female standing in the 300 Block of North Oak Street, who was screaming. The officer arrived and located the female, who was involved in an argument on her cell phone. The officer advised her to go inside her residence.
7:48pm: Cameron Greenough reported the dog he was watching for a friend had gotten loose from him in the 1100 Block of West Lincoln Way Street. The officer did not locate the animal.
8:44pm: Nicole Palmer reported a vehicle tailgating her on Hwy. 4, south of Jefferson. She was northbound towards Jefferson. The officer spotted the vehicles, but did not witness any infractions occurring.
9:29pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 1603 North Elm Street. The officer contacted a Key Holder after locating an Unsecured Door to the business.
10:41pm: Lyle Robbins reported a male teen had thrown an unknown object at his residence located at 201 West Vest Street. He reported the male had run west down the street. The officer did not locate anyone in the area. No objects or damage were located at the residence.
11:06pm: Jerry Schultz reported a teen knocked on his door and ran from the area at 804 South Chestnut Street. The officer did not locate anyone in this area.
Saturday, May 25th
8:04am: Casey’s reported a Gas Drive Off of $32.00 from 508 North Elm Street. The vehicle was not located.
11:48am: The Gardens requested an officer at 1000 West Washington Street for a female who does not belong there. The officer arrived and recognized the female, who lives in the area and has been experiencing mental issues. The officer transported the female to ER to be evaluated by a medical doctor.
12:17pm: A caller requested an officer at 708 West Harrison Street for a reported Domestic Abuse Assault occurring there. The officer arrived and the caller reported
his mother had assaulted him and left the residence. The officer is attempting to
speak to the mother and obtain her version of events.
1:38pm: A caller advised her father had been assaulted to previous day by a tenant, but refused to speak with law enforcement about the event. The officer advised he could not take any action unless her father reports the event.
4:52pm: Betty Fetters requested an officer at 407 North Grimmell Road for a Civil Property Issue occurring at the residence. The officer arrived and the situation worked itself out before he arrived.
9:48pm: Officers were requested at 407 North Wilson Avenue for a male who had broken into the residence. The officer arrived and located the male inside the residence. The occupant advised they were upstairs in the residence and the male walked into their bedroom after they refused to answer the door he was knocking at. The officer arrested Jacob Mario Lopez, 24 of Jefferson and charged him with, “Trespassing – Simple.”
10:54pm: Tim Martin advised of a subject riding an ATV on the street in the 600 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer did not locate the ATV.
Sunday, May 26th
12:08am: An officer performed a Traffic Stop with a vehicle in the 200 Block of North Oak Street. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Dalton Lee Weber, 20 of Jefferson for, “Possession of Alcohol by Person under 18/19/20 1st Offense – Simple. The officer also performed the DOT Administrative Action of an .02% Violation for operating the vehicle.
1:52am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 900 Block of West Madison Street for, “48 Hour Parking.”
2:04am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 700 Block of South Oak Street for, “Parked Between Lot Line and Curb Line.”
3:04am: Michelle Howard requested an officer at 714 South Oak Street after her boyfriend had locked her out of the residence after an argument. The officer arrived and both advised of a verbal altercation in the garage. Howard’s father arrived and they gathered her belongings and the two separated for the evening.
9:04am: The GCMC ER Staff requested assistance with an unruly patient. The officer assisted as the subject was calmed down.
9:27am: Dennis Fox reported a gas can on the side of the street in the 700 Block of South Chestnut Street. The officer noticed a local business was marked on the can and returned it to the owner.
9:44am: An officer checked on a Residential Alarm Activation from 400 West State Street. All was fine at the residence.
10:01am: Michelle Howard requested an officer at 714 South Oak Street for a Civil Property Issue.
10:23am: A caller advised of an ATV being ridden on the street in the 600 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer located an ATV in the back of a truck in the area and spoke to the subjects about the issue.
6:12pm: Tiffany Johnson reported a possible sick raccoon in the 1200 Block of Rushridge Road. The officer did not locate the reported animal.
10:22pm: Eric Durbin reported teens ringing doorbells and running away in the 300 Block of East Park Street. The officer did not locate the subjects.
10:32pm: A caller advised of a screaming female walking in the 200 Block of West Monroe Street. The officer spoke to a female walking in the area playing music on her phone. He advised the female to turn the music down.
Monday, May 27th
12:36am: A Traffic Stop at 220th and Grimmell Road resulted in Rodney Anderson of Fort Dodge being cited for, “Fail to Provide Proof of Financial Liability.”
12:51am: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 500 Block of West Mahlon Street.
4:02am: An officer issued a Parking Violation Notice in the 700 Block of Pinet Place for, “Parked Facing Wrong Direction.”
12:32pm: Brenda Batschelet reported two messages from a female at ER requesting her to take care of her cat.
1:27pm: Cheree Derry reported two juveniles riding a lawn mower in the middle of the street on East McKinley. The officer located the kids, whose father was with them, and spoke to them about the call.
3:47pm: Steven Hopkins requested an officer at 606 Hwy. 30 East. He advised his girlfriend made him get out of the vehicle after an argument and left him. He advised his wallet is in the vehicle. The officer arrived and learned the female returned and gave him his wallet before leaving again.
3:59pm: A caller advised of a Careless Driver on 220th Street, westbound towards Jefferson. The officer did not locate the vehicle.
6:52pm: Jessie Weaver reported a stray dog on the Bike Trail near Graffiti Bridge. The animal was not located.
7:32pm: Jade Nunez reported a possible “No Contact Order Violation.” The officer is investigating.
8:42pm: Allen Howard requested an officer at 714 South Oak Street for a Civil Property Issue.
9:42pm: Jennifer Owens reported a stray dog near 300 East Washington Street. The animal was not located.
