Taylor Shannon of Madrid was traveling in the 12600 block of Zook Spur Rd. when she struck a bump in the roadway and lost control and went into the ditch. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $5000.00. Shannon was cited for failure to maintain control.

Marilyn Anderson of Perry was traveling in the 24000 block of Highway 141 when her vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2000.00.

Patrick Wernimont of Akron, Ohio was traveling west near the 110 mile marker of Interstate 80 when his vehicle struck a deer. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $1500.00.

Jeffrey Mark Guyer, age 40 of 522 Lynwood Ln., Van Meter was arrested at 522 Lynwood Ln., Van Meter for violation of a no contact order and possession of a controlled substance.

Sean Austin Volz, age 21 of 2705 NW 9th St., Ankeny was arrested on a warrant for probation violation-original charge of assault.

Malik Antwan Stokes, age 19 of 5515 SE 14th St., Des Moines was arrested at the 102 mile marker of Interstate 80 for driving while license suspended, possession of a controlled substance and OWI.

Scarlet Dustin of Ames was traveling north in the 35000 block of Del Rio Rd when a deer jumped out onto the road. Dustin swerved to miss the deer and went into the ditch rolling the vehicle. No injuries reported. Damage to the vehicle estimated at $2350.00.
