The time has finally arrived, and the Perry Farmers Market is set to return Thursday evening.
Starting this week and running until the end of September, the market will be held each Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at Josh Davis Plaza. Perry Chamber of Commerce Director Lynsi Pasutti says it’s already looking to be the biggest year yet for the farmers market, and she encourages people to stop by each week. “So we’re all really excited about the vendors that we have lined up, some of the activities that we’re planning. So I think it’ll continue to grow and continue to be a place that people want to come down to for the activity side, but then to kind of supplement their summertime groceries with local produce and fresh goods.”
Pasutti adds, the third Thursday of each month the Chamber will present a special activity, though the specifics on those haven’t been nailed down yet.
