May is National School Boards Appreciation Month and it’s a time to recognize those who volunteer their time to serve.

Greene County School District Superintendent Tim Christensen appreciates the work that the seven-person school board does for the district.

“I want to thank all of the Greene County School Board members. They do a fantastic job. Again there’s a tremendous job commitment and there is no pay with it. So I want to thank them very much.”

The School Board members include: Board President Dr. Mark Peters, Vice-President Steve Fisher, Dr. Steve Karber, Sam Harding, Catherine Wilson, Mike Dennhardt and John McConnell. Christensen encourages everyone to thank the board members for serving the residents of the school district.
