West Central Valley High School has a new head coach to lead the Baseball program as Nick Weinmeister was introduced and hired as the new WCV Baseball Coach earlier this spring.
Weinmeister is excited for this summer baseball season, as he feels his team has matured and grown from last season which will benefit them moving into the swing of their 2019 schedule.
Last season, WCV finished 12-15 in baseball, and Weinmeister believes that with many players returning, and another year of growth, their win/loss record could improve dramatically.
West Central Valley has already played in two games this week, on Monday in Glidden-Ralston and Tuesday in Ogden.
Tomorrow, the Wildcats get to play in front of their own supporters, as WCV hosts its home opener, in a Varsity double-header with Interstate 35 from Truro. The first game will start at 5:00pm tomorrow in Stuart.
